Default sway bars, GS vs. Type R

what is the difference in the size of the mm and has anyone switched over from GS/LS to type R? can you really feel the difference? is it worth the extra money?

I swapped from my gsr to a type r and i noticed a HUGE different.

I'm not sure about the specs of the ls/gs sway bars, but I know the GSR is atleast as good, or better, so if it made a huge different to me, it will to you as well.

I hope that helps at least a little.

If your talking about the rear sway bar, I believe the gs/rs is 13mm, gsr is 14mm, and the type r is 22mm. I also know that the front sway bar for the gsr is 26mm.

Yea theres a few reenforcement kits out there. If you dont use one you will tear your subframe. Theres an ASR, beaks, and bsq that I know of.

so if I put in just the type R rear sway bar, I will end up tearing out the subframe? I got a hold of the sway bar aleardy, so does anyone sell just the subframe? What about the front? Is anything else required to get that installed? Is there a difference between the JDM and USDM?

usdm 22mm jdm 23mm for the rear. u have to have a subframe kit or it won't fit without modification of stock sub frame. and stock ls/gs/rs is only 12mm. u will feel a huge difference in handling if u take u car on hard turns. as for the front jdm type r is 25mm and u will need gsr/type r front end links. the ls/gs/rs end links will not work. if i am forgettign something ill come back a post again. hope this helps u out

rs,gs,ls- fronts 22mm rears 12mm
GSR- fronts 24mm rear 14
USDM ITR fronts 24mm rear 22
JDM ITR 96-97 fronts 24mm rear 22
JDM ITR 98+ fronts 25mm rear 23mm
honestly dont worry about the jdm 25mm front though
