Hey guys, my twin turbo 300zx (yes i know, not a honda sorry) needs a little help. Previous owner of the car over filled the tank and looks like the gas oxodized the paint. Here is a few pics of the issue i need fixed asap.

Did you already try to polish that area?

 

a little wet sand will take that away.

nope, never tried to polish it yet.

 

Try some polish and wax, or a one step cleaner wax.

 

No repaint is necessary. It probably just stained the area and its NOT oxidized.

Try a paint cleaner or medium polish...

 

Try a 2000 grits sand paper (WET) with a good buff and polish. Should go away.
