i-vtec Sticker
Just got a question for those who have removed that sticker. I had a wreck a few months back and they had to replace that sticker, well it's bubbling up. Rather than taking it back, I'd like to just take them both off. Ive had the car for a year. Any tips on getting those stickers off quick & easy?
lol god no, don't use a razor blade unless you hate your paint.
try heating them up a bit with a hairdryer and using your finger nail to get one edge started and slowly pull.
i've never tried to remove them on my car...but thats pretty much how i remove vinyl, unless it's on a window -- the razorblade ftw.

some people seem to mess up when using a razor blade.
i used a razor blade and hair dryer before removing pin stripes. worked fine. no scratches.

no blow dryer. no razor.
peel up an edge, and slowly peel it back.
no biggie, like any other sticker, just more careful.
the blow dryer imo will leave residue.
do it in the shade.......

goo gone FTW!!!
While just peeling it off might work for some surfaces, it won't work that well for others. And you're going to have some residue no matter what... its vinyl

ok then I suppose any other type of residue remover will do the same. Either way, my point was really just that you're going to have some residue either way...
I used to work with vinyl all the time when I worked for the brookfield zoo in the design department and we used a couple different kind of residue removers (including goo gone), but I never did put vinyl on the park vehicles, so idk I just threw it out there.
We mostly laid vinyl on sintra

and it took a half hour to scrape 2 letters off. when i finally got the razor it to all of five minutes.

I used one of these to heat up the edge using a constant motion. Then just used my fingernail to lift the edge and the rest just came up. After that i just waxed the area and it came out fine.

Isn't it just one big sticker? the letters aren't separate.

NO eFFing way man! want to eFF up the paint?
just peel them off. the fresher they were applied the easier they come off. as far as the adhesive left apply goof off and remove with an old debit card. The adhesive turns into jelly.

I did this to my 2004 Si, and I found it made the decals stick more, and became brittle. As far as my 2007, I peeled them off the day after I bought it. I used goof off and the adhesive residue came off.

DO NOT use any kind of reducer or thinner
DO USE denatured alcohol
