Hi guys, I have blackhouse TYC headlights on 99 Accord coupe...i was thinking to get 8000K HID..but have few question...would that melt my housing? or make bubbles?? or is there any other downfalls?

well considering HIDs burn more cool than regular bulbs, it won't do that - please search, i know it's been covered a billion times before

i think i read this before. remember i said i THINK, it was said that TYC projectors are generally made for HID... Not sure though. My friend has HID on his stock headlights and it hasn't burnt or melted anything. So i believe it would work out.

 

no, it will not. HIDs will be fine.
