those slicks are really small.... and post up your timeslip or at least the details so we can see your 60', and what psi did you run those slicks at? i'd say go with the 22x8x13 inch slicks because those are WAY small worked great on my single cam
. and you will be fine. but post up what psi you ran the slicks at and your timeslip if possible.

Wow, and I thought my 22's were small.
Also, are they new or used? Did you get all the water off them after the burnout?
Are they a different diameter than your stockers? (If so, you have a different final drive number)
You need to do more than 1 run to get some real data.

ALRIGHT SORRY GUYS RAN THE SLICKS AT 12 PSI - LAUNCHING AT 5500, AN WAS ONLY GETTING 2.2 60 FOOT/ TRAP MPH 94, I RAN IT LIKE THIS 4 TIMES AN ALL TIMES WHERE IDENTICAL... AT THE END OF THE TRACK IT SEEMS LIKE MY TOP END WAS SLUG-GESS, LIKE I DIDNT HAVE ENOUGH HP OR SOMETHING
RAN 14.2@96MPH 2.2-60FOOT STOCK KUMHO TIRE'S@22PSI...
I'M THINKING ABOUT PUTTING MORE AIR IN THE SLICKS LIKE ABOUT 19-20 PSI...
AN TAKING OFF AT 6500-6800 RPM

u need less air go down 2 about 8psi in the slicks. & bring the rpm up a little more.
do a burn out till u get some good smoke. 2nd gear burn out keep the revs up.

20x18x14 MT at 12 psi on a 14x6 rim, do a burn out in 2nd gear, launch at 7000+ rpms.
Z6 on 85 shot, about 180-190 whp, 1.816 foot, 13.09 ET.
Also is you car lowered and the camber excessive? More than 1.5-2 degrees negative camber will effect the MT's.
I'm on my 4th set

I agree, lower the pressure and smoke the hell out of those tires, you'll be happy with the results. Just keep messing with the tires and forget about the street tires.

those slicks are way too small for your setup. go with the 22x8x13. i wouldnt put more air in those slicks unless you just want to spin more??? seriously your best bet would be to go with some 22's. you can easily find them used for a decent price. and if you are on a budget go with the Lenso wheels.

Free gearing advantage......</TD></TR></TABLE>
like i said in my first post "worked great on my single cam" and a 1.8 60' doesn't sound "perfect" to me i'd be disappointed if i hit 1.8's......... since when i had a b-series (like the OP has) i used the 22's and was getting 1.6 60's, 1.6 60's sound a lot better to me than 1.8 60's but thats just my opinion
