what would u guys do????
so i just got a compression test and i found out the numbers where pretty bad. so now im decideing what motor to get. i was thinking about doing a b20 vtec or ls vtec since i already got the head and everything off of my b16. just wanted some ideas. thanks guys.

Just cuz the CR's are bad doesn't mean you need to scrap the motor.
Do a leakdown test and see where it's coming from. Fix this motor.

what i was thinking was sell the b16 bottom block and buy a b20 and drop in turbo. since i have the vtec head already. i heard that the b20 is a good motor to boost on. the reason why im doing that is cause i getting a free turbo kit.
hey man just try to find a diffrent bottom end since u already have the b 20 head try to find like a gsr botom end or sumthin diffrent compression and **** like that u know what i mean gsr all the way with the b20 head

Someone has been lying to you. The last engine I would boost would be a B20 with stock sleeves.

He wants to do the GSR/B20 build lol. The less torque of the GSR block and the lack of high end from the B20 head. perfect!!
Anyways, if your budget permits get the b20 and build that. You can still drive your b16 around while you are building the new block.
