What else is there???

I got mine form King, and they sent Skunk.

Listen folks.. they are fine if you do some precautionary work to them.

1. I used a dremel and scored the surface where the washers go.

2. Loctite the threads.

3. I also scored the washers too, but you can buy serrated lock washers.

4. TIGHTEN ALL 4 BOLTS.. TIGHT!!!

You can also go past the yield strength of the bolts and that is not good. I remember expressing my concerns to Warren about these things when we were installing his header. I think what may be a good idea with these is to have a piece of metal (3/16") machined so that it would be a "washer" for the 4 bolts. This would provide more surface area to sandwhich those thin slots in the control arm.

Great idea.. I think I will also ditch the allen bolts all together and use regular ones..

Maybe a bit longer too... just for that extra bite.

Thanks.

Yeh, I forgot to mention the length of the bolts would need to be increased. Thanks. It's late. You could also safety wire the bolt heads.

*Added to list of things to do*

Reid - who has the federal gov't to thank for learning how to properly safety wire those bolts on the hydraulic actuators...
