It didn't spoil the love of canyons for me. It just spoiled the sensation of going fast. Now I save going fast for the track, and I save the canyons for stunting and posing.

true, i still love ACH/AFH--but i have a different approach to them these days.
if u love the canyons so much how come u never ryde em??!?!

I'd feel bad totaling pretty much anything... Yeah it'd suck and I'd be upset but... I really don't see it being anymore risky then commuting to work or weekend riding in terms of chance of laying down my bike. I'd say if you couldn't stand to total your bike, that you need to put it up on stands in your garage and never ride it.

And YES if I owned a Ferrari I would never take it to the track over my $2000 crx.
I mean...at least get some beat up bodywork.
Going to the track should be a fun experience and a worry free one if you wreck. If you are worried about scratching up your mint paint it really limits the whole learning experience. Not saying you are....but I would be lol.
