Default Integra steering is Off...

I did a B20 swap on my 96 integra and ever since my car seems to ride much rougher..

The car sat for a year before the swap...

1. It hits harder over bumps

2. Steering seems lazy

3. I sometimes hear a loud CRASH when i hit bumps fast enough

4. The steering doesnt feel as tossable as it used to...

Ive already check ALL of the suspension and unless i overlooked something i cant figure it out... I flushed the fluid in the power steering too...

I know it cant be the B20 weight can it? Isnt the B20 identical in weight to a B18?

well when you took apart the suspension to put the motor in, if you used a pickle fork on the ball joints, it will ruin them.

Also, is the car lowered? Lowered cars put a lot of stress on the upper ball joint due to the camber angle. They will fail from time to time and make all sorts of noise.

How did you check everything in the suspension?

are all of the bushings in good condition?
sometimes leaving them sitting for years can cause siome damage.

Also, how much of the suspension did you take apart to install the engine? You may be needing an alignment.

Try aligning it first.
