Default Question about installing a new clutch and resurfaced flywheel-my new set up came

with a piece that goes in the flywheel itself. It's circular with a rubber lining.I know it goes in the center of the flywheel but I want to make sure I install it right.Do I just tap it into the flywheel and grease the rubber lining?? No grease any help would be greatly appreciated so I don't mess something up!! Thanks

The pilot bearing just gets tapped into the flywheel; I usually use a large socket and hammer to do the job. Just make sure it is seated, it will stick up a little bit. I never lube the inside.

put it in the freezer for a couple hours before you install. the cold makes it slightly smaller and will go in easier, I would use a little oil or something on the outside so you can tap it in easier.
