AMZOIL
no other synthetic oil company offers near the protection and filtration than AMZOIL 35,000 miles between changes with filter every 7500 miles. First time I tried the stuff ($9.00 qt) my mileage increased by 3mpg.

Castrol 10/30 (hot Florida climate) with Puralator PureOne oil filter ever 4-5K miles. Seems to work, the engine is clean as a whistle inside and I have over 304K miles.

little bit better at protecting in very hot climates. Honda recommends 5w30 for gas mileage, and proper lubrication, though. So 5dubyah is what i use in my GSR.
I use regular *** oil. It's just my daily driver. I mean it may see some spirited driving...but whatever. I use the OEM honda filter because my friends work at a dealer and i get them for free.
I use synthetic in my S2000 since it sees a lot of track time....and cuz it's my "fun car" lol.
Iduno...synthetic if you're going to drive the car hard, i guess. It's NA so you'd have to drive it pretty fu#$ing hard for it to make a difference.

I use havoline, it's actually a really good conventional oil. I also use a oem honda filter.
Ill probably use synthetic once I get my engine built. synthetic gets lost too quickly with my engine ive got now.

lol how are you going to see what it does? Unless you're putting on a lab coat and taking it to the lab, all you're going to be able to write down in your oil change journal is "it came out black and slippery". You can then insert that line into a porno that you will make later on in life.

True story...
A different oil filter really isnt going to help unless the ones you had weer shitty and fell apart or something.

exactly, every oil filter is just a metal core with a paper inside. Thats why i usually buy the cheapest. And once my oil gets dirty i just get a new filter fill it up with oil (so you dont dry start your engine) and the oil becomes clean again! I use Mobil oil becuase mobil's oil has one of the least levels of varnish in it.
i use mobil 1 5w30 15,000 mile synthetic and with a mix of the lucas synthetic oil stabilizer...as far as filter i go for the fram tough guard...works great for my 115k mileage gsr..
lol, after reading all the post I failed to realize that no one told him about the uber search funtion. lol, j/k disregard my comment. On topic I just use Castrol HM and FRAM. My friends say I -5HP cause I use that and they are getting +10HP from using RP or RL. -joke-

I belive its the thickness/grade of the oil as in you would want higer Ws for hot clamatic areas vs lower Ws for colder regions.
