PCV valve not connected
i just realized that my PCV valve is not connected to the IM. its just sitting there with nothing comming out of it.
What does that mean?
Is this bad?
Should i replace the valve and connect it to the IM?

The PCV valve routes unburned fumes from the crank case back to the IM so it can be burned and catalyzed. It also serves to relieve pressure inside your crank case.
Since its venting into the atmosphere, its relieving pressure.....but it's also polluting the air more than it should be. Reconnect it if you like to breath.

All the PCV valve does is vent unburned fuel vapors back to the combustion chamber, along with a little oil residue. The inside of your IM will look like a dirty chimney after time, though.
