Default A/C drain clogged

My 95 Accord has A/C drain clogged frequently (2 times a year during summer). Are there any long term solution? It is annoying to have water drip under the glove box. It costs me $30 to have the mechanic to unclog the drain.

Thanks, David

i cant think of any long term solution to this problem.....

when mine starts to drip i just get a coat hanger or a pipe cleaner and clear it out.

The long term fix is to remove the evaporator, open the case and clean it all out.
About 4 hours work with recovering and recharging the A/C system.

mine hasnt acted up in awhile but the clothes hanger works fine. It really does get annoying when you take a turn and your passenger gets cold water on their feet

Along with this clogged drain problems, does any one get a humid / "locker room" like odor coming from the vents when the A/C is first turned on?

I think all cars get that when they first start just because of stagnant air stuck in the vents

Smells are usually due to bacteria or mildew. There are stuff like Frigi-Fresh, that helps greatly for that problem, instructions are on can.
