Ouch, that looks like it really wouldn't be worth repairing. I don't want to sound mean, but maybe sell the thing and get a stock car to rebuild? I can tell you have your heart in the right place; you've gone F/I, and that's farther than I've gone yet. Do you want to tell us your plan of action?

I was actually thinking about selling it but i have a lot of money into it already... i mean.. I am going to rebuild my engine still and do the wire tuck but im stuck with the paint and body.. Or if i find a decent shell sometime in the future and i run across a cheap garage i can rent out I might just run a shell and hook that all up.. but i cant really get rid of the del sol... i think it'd be too tough to sell and to lose..

what's so wrong with the body? Some different rims, all red tails, I think it looks pretty decent. At least what was done was done well...
I don't mind it at all. Kinda like the two tone. Got any side shots?

well, if you sell the car, just drive around the Bloomfield Hills area, some rich kid will give you top dollars for that car.

hmmm. I have to say that it's not THAT bad. Just loose the tail lights. Or smoke them black (so you can't tell they are altezzas)

On an additional note, I could report your avatar pic for being innappropriate, but also since I recognize that, I find it hilarious as well. Good show :golfclap:

For the revival of your baby, I may have to say she's pretty far gone, dude. The custom molding of the rear bumper to the quarter panels and license plate holder will make it hard to just get a new bumper and whatnot. That, and the two-tone yellow and silver looks like an expensive job to repaint afterwards. So much more to repair than to just fix up, I'd say to make the commitment and sell it to a rich kid. Start over, and love a new baby, hard as it may sound

Oh, PS- If you decide to sell it, don't include the turbo into the deal. Save the kit for a replacement Sol.

you weren't kidding when you said "ricer days". At least you completed it, insteading of primered bumpers and such. Anyway, i say get rid of the del sol. Get another car, or another del sol. Turbo Good start, now just get rid of that molded mess.
