I highly doubt it is worth the money or time...but truely the amount of downforce those would create espicially on any EF model would be so minute, you will not notice what the 20 dollars did for you.

mitsubishi puts those on their evo's as an option, but for it to produce noticeable downforce the car would have to be travelling at a considerable amount of speed. I would say 80+ before noticing anything.

My work with Fluid dymanics is limited when it comes to "down force". However, there is nothing on that product (that I see) that would cause any type of down force. It would cause the wind to split to the left and right, doing nothing in the vertical axis.

Secondly, iandavis90 is correct if they did produce any down force you would have to be going exceptionally fast. Much faster than 80. A few years back there was a FSAE team that was getting 200 lb of down force out of their race car @ 50 mph, however, they had 2 MASSIVE wings that were each about a foot tall by a food wide by 5 feet long. You will see the natural aerodynamics of the car make more down force than you will see these things.

Really if it would help it would be molded to the car.

I'd be as bold as say skip it.

Heres a pic of the car I was talking about. Cal Poly Pomona ran it in 2003. Apparently it was a bit bigger than I remember.

Ya once you get to the speeds that these things might do something they will prolly rip straight off!

That's freaking awesome!

Last time I was Karting, I got hit, *i got hit 5 times that day... i swear everyone is out to get me*
I lost my wing, even in the tight track we were in having no wing and not breaking 30 or so you feel a bit looser on the butt end.

Back to the OP, Now i'm thinking if you really had these on, you are placing them randomly to do it safely *asuming they help* you should really do some testing for your cars areodnyamics,
it's not wise to add down force or cut C/D in random spots.

You might be pulling some downforce off your front, and the last thing you want at higher speeds is more air under the front, even more so in a FF car.

Dude, seriously. Those are dumb. They have to be the stupidest aerodynamic add on ever. I mean, I could see why you would want to add aerodynamic clamping force on your car but my God man, why those? Spend your money on something real that works like a wing. I mean, not to bash you too badly here but damn are those things fugly. I mean if someone told you that they'd sell you **** real cheap because it increases horsepower, would you buy some pinch and add it to your car?

Totally useless, especially on your automatic LX Civic. Seriously, you need to do your research on cars in general before you go flinging your money around on useless garbage like this.

Why on earth are you on this site then?

What do I know about hondas, all those autoXs drag race and HPDE days totally worthless, lets trust some marketing manager who hawks products.

If it's a blinking ad it's gotta be good

Just leave HT, try ClubSI, or Club Civic you'd fit in great they all also don't understand engineering and phyics.

No sir, every one of your threads is absolutely pointless, we've been trying to give you sound advice that you obviously ignore. If you don't realize that then you should stop asking for our advice. And I must be "gay" then too because I quoted you.
