you're shorting out somewhere...and seems to be a really small short...enough to slowly drain the battery....try installing a kill switch which terminates the connection of the battery to the car and see if that helps.

Its basically the same as disconnecting your battery every time you turn off the car...do this to learn if it is infact a ground leak or just another faulty batter(which is HIGHLY doubtful) but its just a suggestion..

Possibly bad diodes in the alternator? My drain problem was due to the electric seat belt / door latch problem (90 91).......keep searching......good luck

I have also seen the starter solenoid leak and will draw power even while you are not cranking.

do a parasitic current drain test. u hook up a dmm in series with the neg post of batt and the cable when the car is off. it should not read more tha 50ma. make sure ur amp fuse can hadle at least 10 amps or 20 just incase,u dont want to blow the fuse

If you are getting parasitic drain over what is normal then you will need to find out where it is. The best way to localize it is by checking all the circuits through the fuse box.

Try this.....

Take a test light and unhook the neg post on the battery hook the test light up to the neg post and put the other end in the cable. If there is some kind of draw on the battery then it will light up. Then you can remove fuses and see which system is giving the draw....then you have a idea where it is. Then with that fuse back in you can unplug the items in that system to see where it is.
