88 civic with rear disc brake

i was wondering if i swap the 90-93 rear disc brake to my 88 civic i was wondering do i got to get new shocks because my 88 shocks sits inside the LCA and i was wondering if i had to get new shocks ??? thanks

i don't see why he needs new shocks. The 88 style rear lcas/struts can be reused with the DA trailing arms.

Is that true ?? if it is then i can start my rear disc conversion cause i am waiting on money for the shocks and i dont really want to buy new shocks cause i got TOKICO WHITES
