Default Rear shocks/ disc converson question

Ok...I'm about to order some kyb agx for my 96ex however...I plan on doing the rear integra brake conversion...so question is...do I need to get integra rear shocks...or do you only need to get the hub, not the lca for the brake conversion? Will civic shocks work w/ the teg Lca's?

Unless you go Type-R, USDM Integra shocks will bolt up to your car. I recomend them because they have stiffer spring rates than a civic's shocks.

Front and rear teg shocks will bolt up to a 6gen?

NO.....you don't need to get any integra shocks, all you need is the integra trailing arm, calipers, rotor, brake lines, and E-brake cable. The 6 gen civic share the same front shocks as intergras and 5th gen civic but DO NOT share the same rear shocks. Get KYB's that are for the 6gen civics. You will be using the LCA that you currently have.

but will the teg shocks fit...I heard they will if you use 5mm spacers...reason I'm asking is that JC whitney has agx shocks for 250shipped, but don't stock for 96-00 civics...so I want to order the teg shocks.

Yes....you can fit integra shocks onto a 6 gen civic as long as you fit washers between the shocks and the LCA. The LCA bushing on the integra are wider hence the fork on the shocks are also bigger. You need to fill the extra space between the LCA and the shocks.

thank you so much for the info...you just saved me over $100.
JCwhitney has kyb agx for $251 a set...but they don't stock them for 96-up civics.
Integra's will do nicely
