DA problems need help!!!! =)
well i just bought a 93 integra LS, the girl i bought it from said that the car starts but only after the CEL light goes off which is like 10-15 minutes after (fuel pump primes), sometimes the car doesnt even start so im thinking the main relay, well i go to my honda dealer and buy the main relay plug it in same thing... so i try to smell around the engine bay to see if i can smell gas but nothing, my brother turns the ignition to the first click and nothing, what i hear sounds like a ground is loose or loose wires touching somewhere in the engine bay, i have no idea what it is but i need to get this car started it is my only way of transportation for now
Sounds like a common problem with the DA's, I had the same problem, and just like you replaced the main relay and checked and cleaned all the grounds involved. Ended up being the computer which I know a couple other people with DA's also just like me would needed to replace the computer to fix that problem.
Can you hear the fuel pump?? If not, disconnect the fuel return line on the fuel pressure regulator, and have a buddy click the key to ON, and see if fuel flows from the hose. If you've got flow, you know its not the pump. Check and clean your ground connections...all of them. Does the car crank at all? Or is it cranking, but not firing??
well i talked to the girl today, she said that her dad replaced the ECU!!! so i pulled it today and sure enough it said remanufactured ECU it had stickers all over the ECU, they bought it form ebay for 30 bux in 2000, so ima try a new ECU 2mrrw hopefully itll start thx guys

Did you check the fuel flow like I suggested?? If you've got fuel...then you need to check if you've got spark. Take a spark plug out, and hook it to the spark plug wire, and hold the plug next to the head or block...within a couple centimeters. It should jump a spark from the plug to the block if you've got spark. :et me know what happens.
Yeah check the wires going into the fuel pump, but check them right at the pump. I think 12V+ at the pump is yellow/green (don't quote me on that, I left my service manual at the shop so I can't confirm it). If it has pos and neg. going into it (I doubt it) then you need a pump. If it doesn't, then go to the main relay and start testing wires...I forget which wire is the "signal" wire from the ECU (it's the one people put a kill switch on - look up a kill switch howto on a teg) and see if that has 12V+. If it does, then it's not getting through the relay (but you said its a new relay so I doubt thats it). If it has no 12V+ then it could be your ECU...just start tracing! Its a pain but luckily you've narrowed down the problem. Good luck!
