Coilovers....Weapon-R or Skunk2??
They would be for my brother's Civic. He doesn't race his car. It's strictly for everyday driving(for looks)...nothing extreme. I told him he'd be better off getting those then a really cheap brand like Arospeed or Ractive.
IMHO Weapon R ranks right up there with Arospeed and Ractive... or should I say down there. Get a good set of quality coilovers now and avoid the agravation of having them squeak or bust on you. You can normally find Skunk2 for about 280-290 on www.groupbuycenter.com.

Arospeed = Rice/Crap
Ractive = Rice/Crap
Ground Control or Skunk2 for coilover kits
I would get Ground Control or Skunk 2's.. I mean come on.. its not THAT huge of a price difference.. and I"d rather put those quality brands parts on my car rather than stuff like Weapon R, Ractive, APC, Tenzo, Arospeed, etc.. all those other junk rice companies..

uh.. I have the wr circuit pros. (bought em like 2 yrs ago, that tool Leo Now (weapon -r vp) he convinced me to gettem at nopi 2000 when i was a nieve young riceling) But Ive been running them ever since and no problems with em what so ever. I also rode on them pretty low for a year on stock 100k shocks when i had my civic and the shocks never went bad. I mena it wasnt a very comfortable ride but it was bearable. Right now im running them on my teg with koni reds, the ride is stiff but not bouncey. I havent had any problems with them, they dont make any funny noises, perches havent gotten stuck etc etc.. knock on wood. truthfully if i could do it over again i would never buy a WR product but atleast these coilovers havent dissapointed me as far as quailty.
buy the skunk2s tho. they def gotta better rep.
oh yea, i emailed WR about 5 days ago asking them about the spring rates.. still no reply.

first of all... let me break it down to you.
ive tried all three. ground controls... skunk2s... and weapon*R2 dual spring coilovers.
ground controls = stiff... but it clanks... and its annoying as **** when it clanks. theres no center support so the sleeves rub against the shock.
skunk2s = same as ground controls. easier to adjust than the ground controls
weapon*R 1 dual springs coilovers = stiff... no clanks... center support so it aligns the sleeve with the shock. easy to adjust. i have these on right now with stock shocks for almost 2 years now... they are pretty damn good.
some of you do not know how good the weapon*R products are. dont hate. their filters are one of the best out there... with apexi and hks. (original one.. not the dragon one) all the other **** is rice.. only because they are exterior products. their performance products work. no doubt about it.

ok, as much as i regret this...i made a wrong decision and ended up buying weapon r's..... MAN WAS THAT A BAD MISTAKE! I;ve heard some people say weapon r provides a nice ride cause of that dual coil shiet, but truthfully, their products blow!!! stick with skunk or gc's..... but if you want, i'll sell you my weapon r coilovers for $200 cause theyre only a month old!!! lmk! LOL
Ground Control Coilover 94-01 Integra 269.20 + ship @ http://www.1201aeromotiv.com
Depends more on how much you lower the vehicle. If you go below 1.5" you are probable putting excess strain on the shocks... If you slam that shiz like 3" then ya they'll last like 2-3 months. The spring rate on the GC's is also optional at the factory, so if you require stiffer/or softer than average springs they can be custom made within 3-5 days of your purchase. The rate is adjustable in 25Lb increments.

I dont do a lot of city driving, I drive back from chico to the bay like 2-5 times a month. 195 miles of all freeway, and w/ all the contruction goin on in the bay area...its killlin me! I know other guys who like and dont like weapon R's, so i guess it depends what kinda of ride you prefer[

I haven't met one person that likes the ride of a weaponR coilover. You're not alone, everything they makes sucks. I've even seen an intake go out that said 99-01 Civic EX... when you know damn well in 01 EVERYTHING CHANGED on the civic.
