I have 91 hatch with an Si swap...the car recently stopped running. Did the engine swap 3 days ago..it was running then out of nowhere it stalled...i have no idea what it is. I checked the essentials...air,fuel and spark. Its getting air...But its not getting spark...alot of people told me to change the main relay but i dont kno how.

It's a little box above the hood latch...under the dash...Little square box. Before you take the screws out and everything...just unplug yours and plug in another one and let it hang. No sense in taking screws out if that isn't the problem.

Remove the coin tray from under the dash.

You will see a black box on the left under there.

Thats the main relay.

Take a 10mm socket and remove the bracket at the bottom of it.

Unplug it from the harness.

Take your new one that you got from Honda (the only place that I know of to get them) and plug it into the harness.

Then mount it back in with the 10mm bolt.

Start up your car.

Its a black box. I think it says on it Mitsuba or something like that. It has a plug on it that you just depress the tab on it and pop off the plug. Then take your new one and plug it in and youre good to go. No more than a 10min job if that.

I'm not 100% on this....but I'm pretty sure it's black. I cannot tell you what color the wires are, or what the box says. You can't miss it man...lean down and look under the dash...right above the lever to pop the hood. It has a bracket hooked to it...and a plug.

If you have another one...unplug the original...and plug your new one in it.

They are available after market. You can get the mitsuba relay. It's the same as Honda's relay, without a stamp that says Honda.
