go to your local autoparts store and by a haynes or similar manual.

it essence: take off wheels. unbolt everything you can see that is holding in the shock/spring unit. remove unit. rent a spring compressor to remove spring. add new spring. put back in. get an alignment

Its pretty simple.

Fronts:

Raise car, and rest on jackstands.
Remove wheel
Remove lower shock frok bolt (17mm bolt going through the FLCA)
Remove the shock fork bolt (14mm bolt at the top of the fork)
Remove the fork from the strut.
Remove the 3 14mm bolts from the top of the strut tower, drop the shock, and slide out of the way.

Using a spring compressor, compress the OEM coil, undo the shock nut, remove the top mount, remove the spring and carefully release the tension on it. Place the new spring on the shock, reinstall the top mount and tighten the bolt.

Rear shocks.

raise and support the rear of the car, remove the lower shock bolt (1 17mm bolt)
Remove or pull back the side panels in the trunk and fold down the seat.
Remove the 2 14mm bolts on the top of the rear strut tower and the strut will fall out. Changing the spring is the same in the rear.

that pretty much sums it...be sure to crack loose the upper strut bolts so that you wont have a helluva time doing it with the strut out of the car.

That sums it up, but is still WAY off. Use a manual and make absolutely certain, you torque all your bolts back to the EXACT OEM specs. Also the wheel should be raised into the possition as if the vehicle was on the ground before you tighten anything.

Actually, its not way off, its exactly how I did it on my car. I'll even go take pics, since Bruce banner is a nice guy

First, remove the 17mm bolt that holds the shock fork to the lower control arm. The bolt is pictures here:

Then, remove the 14mm bolt that holds the top shock fork on.

Then Push down on the control arm, and wiggle the shock fork off, and slide it forward, or remove it.

Remove the 2 12mm bolts that hold the brake line to the shock

From under the hood, remove the 3 14mm bolts that hold the strut in, and it will drop, and it can be removed from the car.

After its out of the car, change the spring, and possibly the shock as well, and reinstall is the reverse.

Required tools:
Socket for lugs
17mm wrench
17mm socket
14mm socket
19mm socket (for shock, if you plan to change the spring yourself)
Spring Compressor (if you plan on changing your own springs)
