Why is this important??
Well, we've been in this market for quite some time. We've been around when the first 2-way pagers were introduced, and when many of chinese built knockoffs flooded the market. However, after painful 2-3 years, many people have come to the realization that when it comes to alarms, you DONT want to mess with quality. We've all heard of horror stories of cars stalling on the highway, wiring disasters, ECU malfunctions, etc.. all due to faulty alarm brains.
Quality DOES matter when it comes to Alarms. You might want to save $50 by going with some other brand, but that could cost you $500 in fixing your car if it goes bad. Even "uninstallation / installation" will cost upto $400 from a pro shop.
In general, products made in Korea go through more strict Quality Assurance program than products made in China. Chinese manufacturing is all about "volume". It's target is to make certain number of products in a certain amount of time for a certain amount of cost.
When this limitation is set in place, its extremely hard to control the quality workmanship of the manufacturing process.
Just in case anyone was wondering... YoungShin Electronics (makers of Compustar) now makes all of their alarms from China. This was done to cut costs due to the increased demand from resellers, wholesalers and distributors to lower the cost due to "competition". (older ones were built in Korea, but the new ones are now all built from China - you can check the lables to confirm).
This has raised their defect rates significantly. Due to legal purposes, we will not reveal their actual figure of defect increase rate.
Competition Comparision:
We've been talking and comparing Zenesis with Compustar thus far. It's because we believe that they are the closest competition we have in terms of quality. We talked about quality, pricing, and technology. However, theres one more note we want to make.
Some people have falsely assumed that Zenesis is "just another Compustar knockoff". Especially since Compustar just recently released the "window knocking password" feature that Zenesis has.

No company goes "backwards" in time to copy an obsolete product / technology.
We understand that many of you are fans of compustars. Rightly so, as it is a well made product. However, the key thing to remember is that they have recently changed their production facility to China. Want proof? check the labels on the new products, you will see "Made in China" on it as its there by law.
IF there is anything else.. just ask me specifically which area you want "proof" for. We'll be happy to answer them.
We're not here to "spam" or "bad mouth" other products. If it was carried that way, we apologize. Our intention was to provide "Factual" comparision rather than an opinion based on false information.
All the information was stated with reasonable evidence that can be accepted as fact. Such as the information given above. hey guys, we did a quick video shoot jsut to show some features of the remote.
however.. keep in mind... features are features.
when it comes to alarms, its all about reliability and durability.
many chinese companies such as prostart has copied some of the features - almost even dupilicating it and selling it for few dollars less. again... don't just compare features vs. features. compare the reliability and quality.

i jus wish i could trust the paypal account and the offer.
i have a clifford 2.5x and right now, im not happy with it. the whole remote transmitter thing. but im sure its hard to program the whole knock code thing,
