Default upper control arm

okay, this is the third time i am asking this question. Probably the last time I will ask this because it seems everyone on this site likes to talk e-****. Anyways, Im looking for a comparison between the DA upper control arm, and the EF upper control arm. I have DA knuckles on my car with EF upper control arms.. My question is this: IF I use DA upper arms, will that help me gain some positive camber? I have -3 on both sides, and it sucks driving this car. It pulls all over the road, and It isnt too fun to drive. IF someone has a pic of both arms next to each other, that would be great! Hopefully the DA upper arm is a litttle bit longer to compensate for my problem that I am having. Ohh btw im lowered about 2 1/2-3 inches on koni's & h&r's. Any advice would be appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree on the camber kit (sorry I can't help you on the UCA comparison). The camber kit also allows you to adjust the camber to match across each tire, and allows you to keep a range if you decide to raise up the car later.

I thought about a camber kit, but I think I might just buy some new da arms. I heard that camber kits on ef's cause the uca to hit the inner fenderwell.. Hopefully someone can post a pic of each arm. My friend had da upper arms on his hatch w/ a b series swap, and had absolutely no problems at all, and most people on h-t say that it is best to use the civic upper control arm when doing a DA big brake conversion.... the dilemma

If you extended the length of the UCAs, wouldn't that cause them to hit the fenderwell as well? Just a thought.

I am actually considering taking this car to a frame shop becuase this car has always pulled to the right, and the passenger side wheel seems crooked at all times, and has more negative camber than the driver's side. So far I have replaced lower arm, upper arm, reman rack with new tie rods, and radius rod bushings, and have had the car aligned about 5 times. It is too much of a pain to drive this thing in the rain, so I have to find a good day to take it...I guess thats what you get when you buy a teal si with 90k on the body for 800 bucks...

just put a cam kit in it and be done with it. I have DA spindles with the stock UCA's. I have it set to have -1.0* and even with no rear sway bar, 200k struts, and junk *** tires, it handles like crazy. just put the cam kit in, its like $80 bucks for both sides and have it aligned by someone who has a clue.

Go with a camber kit for your EF upper control arms. The DA ones will throw the car out of wack, and may even give you too much positive camber. The car I recently purchased has DA upper control arms, and on the driver's side, the wheel almost has 2 degrees of positive camber, that's not good. I plan on swapping out to EF UCA's with a camber kit immediately, good luck!

i have ex knuckles with gsr brakes but i had similar camber problems
i used ingalls adjustable balljoints that replace the balljoints in the upper a-arms and i havent had a problem with them.

just to let you know there are other options than da upper a arms....

good luck
