do you still have the factory metal radio brackets? i guess you are using an aftermarket radio install kit, but the originals should be there. just get rid of the kit and metal sleeve, and then mount the radio and the new trays to the oem bracket.

He's right. ISO mount the deck and ISO mount the cup holders and you'll be set.

You may need to buy a trim ring for the bottom piece though.. One of these: http://cgi.ebay.com/Metra-Univ...wItem and modify it and attach it as needed...

Ditto both the above, use ISO mounting... http://www.installdr.com/Insta...5.pdf scroll down to "Remove Radio From Dash Assembly" mount the aftermarket HU the same way as the stock HU is mounted, you may have to file the mounting holes in the dash assembly, so after market HU sits where you want it.

Be very careful with the length if screw you use into the side of the HU. 94

You can put a cup holder there or a pocket or even a dummy plate, it really makes no diff.

Keep in mind your coffee is going to be very close to the face plate of your HU making access to it difficult and you do not want to know what coffee will do to the workings of the face plate, should you have to hammer on the brakes. 94

No. Those cupholders are not designed for cups. They'll hold beans and spiders, and maybe a trinket or two, but definitely will not hold a cup.

Calling someone that are helping you a smart-*** isn't going to get you a lot more help from any of us.
Before you put your foot in your mouth again check the post count of anybody you want to bad mouth again, and say your sorry.

We are here a lot trying to help, so if sometimes we get a little sarcastic, you will need to suck it up, and lol it off.
There is nothing that will get us pissed more then a no0b who can't take a little ribbing.

He is right, the cup holder sucks and isn't even good for the things he mentions. 94

Maybe you'd be happier with one of these:

I'm sure that will hold your pussified venti white chocolate mocha soy latte just fine....

OR...

Maybe you could put your coffee in one of these, then you won't have to worry about spilling...

rofl hard.... you said trinket , lol. My parents use to have those cup holders back in the 80's. Here is my 11/2 cent. Go to the honda dealer and get one of those spill proof cups that fit the cup holder. There only $6.99. and they come in red with the honda logo.
