ok i bought a 92 lude about a month ago, it has 204xxx on it needs some body work. interior is perfect. is it worth putting money into it as far as the transmission, engine goes. i've had a few people tell me to keep it and engine swap it. any suggestions would help because i don't know if i should put money into it or just run the wheels off it as a daily driver

 

probably depends on how long you want to keep it, and how much money you're willing to put into it.

i bought mine a little over a year ago, didnt really have money for a swap so i've kept it mostly stock, would swap out though if i had a chance. actually looking into it now. just depends on how much its worth to you...

 

A Prelude (like most any car) has tons of potential; especially for a fun, good handling car; but it just depends on how much you like the car. I don't know what engine you have now, but an H22 swap with a manual tranny and a good suspension setup will be a pretty fun car.

it has a suspension upgrade and a few other bolt on things, headers and cat back, v2 cold air intake. if i do swap would should throw in there? should i swap the trans too?

 

In the honda prelude sections theres a "FAQ" heading, enter that. If you scroll down a touch than theres another heading titled "what can I do for more horsepower?". In there is a compilation of everything H-T has offered on moding your car to add power! I cut and pasted it right here though so you can zoom right too it.
