just bought the crx with 135,000 on the odom what would be the best first mod im new to your world thats why im asking its a d16 block with v-tec already has a controler for vtec..................???????????

i'd do suspension 1st

 

First thing I'd do would be to change the oil. No matter what vehicle I buy, no matter how clean the oil looks, I change it ASAP. Filter too. Better to be safe than sorry.

Check all other fluids while you're at it.

 

First thing anyone should do is regular maintenance like inspection of belts, water pump, compression test, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, bushings, battery, battery cable/grounds, shocks, and nut and bolt car. Then replace anything that looks like it has been there for a while, change all fluids (oil, coolant, brake fluid).

Once you know the car is solid then rock on with other modifications like suspension, motor, etc. Why drop money into a car when you don't know it is solid is stupid.
