So the clicking when shifting at low speeds has been going on for a few months now, the metallic squealing happened twice when making a sharp left turn (first thing in the morning). Any ideas as to what I should be looking out for?

Ah and lately (last few weeks) there's been a burning smell coming from the engine bay, took it to the mechanic and they don't smell anything. It's not always there, but my friends and I notice it a lot...

This is a '99 Civic EX btw.

Thanks for the quick reply, I'll try to make it to my mechanic over the weekend and tell him to look at that. Would messed up axles cause the clicking sound when upshifting/downshifting at low speeds too..?
