Default Drum to disk

Hey.
I just got my car and I don't know much about my it. So here is my first question.

I have 2002 Civic EX and I'm trying to change my rear drum to disk breaks. My body told me that I should get the parts from Integra. But I'm not sure about it.
Could somebody please tell me if it's going to work, and give me some more info.

Thank you.

I believe it would only work with the rear assembly from the Civic Si (Hatchback)... and the 4 lugs version (02-03?) unless you are planning to go 5 lugs.

For those of us in markets lucky enough to be graced by the acura EL, you can get a full conversion from those cars as well.

They say that parts from 2001-2005 RSX Type-R are "swappable"

What about Type-S?

Do you mean "buddy"? And if you don't know much about cars, then maybe you should have your "body" look into it

There's no such thing as an "RSX Type-R". There are Integra Type-R's that are from the same chassis line (DC5), but they only exist in Japan, or they've been imported and are RHD.

Just an off topic question?

But u say u are new to cars...

Then why are u buying rear disc's and 5 lugs?

U can have plenty of brake power by upgrading the front rotors/pads/lines/fluid, and 4 lugs is more than adequate.

Most of the people going 5 lug have K swaps, and the others... well they probably just think its Bling to have 1 more lug.

I would save the money for the rear disc's, invest in some Hawp HPS pads/Brembo Blank Rotors/Motul fluid and stainless lines and call it a day.

I happen to come accross 19" rims that are 5 lug, almost for free. But i figure it's not worth it.
