I love AEM, but go with the injen intake.

Technically speaking the Injen yields more power than the AEM. But it's an intake and the difference is negligible IMO. If I were to buy one, I'd get the AEM for the color variety and dryflow filter.

learn to use the search function? you can narrow it to the Honda Civic (2006- Current) Forum.

The boy has a point...but if you're gonna go and say the search engine sucks maybe you should volunteer to read through it all and pm TypeX and add/update the FAQ

- injen all the way. im lovin mine.
- dont pay more than 270.
- it doesn't matter what color u get, u cant see the thing.
- as far as finding it, your on your own. search e-bay and make sure to read the descriptions carefully. search yahoo's and googles search engines. keywords "06 civic cold air intake"..... "06 civic intake" so on and so on.......

peace.

I have an 08 FG2. I can search for an 06 CAI and be just fine? Just making sure since i noticed that the 06-08 models are basically identical (except for speed volume control and TPMS) correct???

Also: SP or MR, whats the difference?????

ALSO:

I've come to realize the Short Rams are much more affordable Than CAIs. CAIs have gotten great reviews and seem to be the best pick overall, but in this article, some reveals that cold air intakes really aren't COLD AIR intakes unless you can install them away form your hot engine.

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070909231713AA7uNNz

But in this DIY it clearly shows the CAI right next to the engine!! (or is it just far enough away from it to not be affected by the engine's heat?)

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070909231713AA7uNNz

Trying to save $$$, but reluctant to stray from H-Tech's gurus' suggestions.Whats gives?

How new would you say Injen is? Injen was founded in 1998, while AEM claims theyve been around for 19 years.
