Default Are preludes stolen?

So today i was at work as usual from 1pm to around 8pm. I went down stairs into the mall parking lot and started my 95 prelude w/ jdm h22a, and full jdm lights all around, flicked on the HIDs and i was headed home i hopped on a local route called 59, 5 mins onto the way home i notice a beat up 94, 95 purple integra dropped with NJ plates; thinking nothing of it i continued to change lanes back and forth making my way around other vehicles, but i notice him changing lanes with me about 2 to 3 cars behind me. Thinking that he just was looking for a race i made a right off the route, the cars behind me continued straight and he made a right after me, thinking this was wired i continued to my way home, i made a left and he followed again now i thought this was very wired, so i made a right onto my friends street a couple streets up from mine, he followed again. I quickly pulled over and he slowed down looked at me, my car then my friends house seeing this i pulled off quickly behind him. He then surprisingly pulled over and as i passed him he looked like he was caught doing something he shouldn't be, it was like a dumbfounded look, then he made a quickest "K" turn i have ever seen and went the opposite way.

I live in Nyack, NY where there is not really any crime rate. This normally wouldn't bother me if my friends cars weren't stolen the same way. They both lived on the same street and were followed home but didn't think anything of it. Do you guys think i should be worried, even though the suspicious guy didn't see where i lived? I have an Alarm but what can i unplug to keep my car from starting just incase?

read the ITR forums and get ideas for "layers" of security. i have mine in my garage + im planning on parking next to the police cruisers at school when it starts again.
heres some ideas

fuel cutoff
alarm
clutch to shifter lock
seatlock (lock it so its all the way forward and its undrivable)

Buy a dickload of coffee and energy drinks, a sniper rifle with a silencer, and make sure your story is good for the cops

sniper rifle? why... plant a disarmable C4 under ur car, so when they turn the key.. it explodes and u can run up to his shreds after and be like "HAHAHA SUCKER! IN YOUR FACE!" as the cops haul u away.

oh the seatlock one, make sure ur seats are either bolted in with the special bolts that arent removable by normal tools, or ur seats are welded in. (the ones made since s2k seats were being stolen everwhere) or im sure u can ghetto fab something together. im thinking about leaving a dog in the car while im in class and walk him at lunch and stuff.. of course ill leave hella doggy treats since hes working and i can't pay him w/ cash.

Try under the dash near the drivers door. Thats where it was on my civic.

I'm already covered against theft. For some reason, my car won't start unless you release the clutch about an inch while starting. If you have the clutch all the way down it won't respond in any way, pretty nifty - and I'm pretty sure it would prevent a car theft since no one would think to try that.

Although I have no idea why it does this, I've tried replacing the clutch switch which worked for about a month, but then it started doing it again.

Wow, thats shady as hell. If I lived somewhere that they steal cars by towing them, I'd start making use of a GPS tracking device of some sort. Just keep it well hidden somewhere inside the car.
