I got a turboed hatch my head gasket is going out, i want to replace it with something good. I wondered if any one knew any good companies out there?
Should i get a honda one and for what the y7 or y8?

d16y8 head

i wons wondering if this is actually a d16y8 head as well?

That looks almost like a Z6 head. Whats the stamp say?

Well if its a y8 head then i suggest getting a y8 honda gasket.

 

Cometic makes them but OEM is fine too.

Make sure you have the head checked to make sure it's flat.

How much boost you running?

 

8 psi i just bought it. so you think this head has vtec?

 

where is the stamp for the head? I see the one on he motor but i have no clue where it is on the head

 

yes, that is a vtec head.
