which crank i got???
ACL has them though most sellers get confused or just don't know that there are the two diff h22a4 cranks.
The 50mm bearings are the same for all the 92-96 h22a1 motors as well as the 50mm h22a4 so you could be safe and just order them for a 92-96 h or f series.

i was confused and the tech at ACL was also! As far as he was concerned all h22's have a 55mm crank! the part number is the same for all of them that were standard!

yup, BUT there is one exception. according to Natalie some of the early 98 model years had 97 cranks/blocks in them.

97 h22a4 has 50mm mains and all 98-01 have 55mm mains...so youre going to need to find out what year it came off of.
There is one thing that most people do not know....not ALL 98 models came with the 55mm mains....only the ones manufactured IN 98...the 98 models that were made in 97 (if the car was bought between sept and dec of 97 its a 98 model year) have the 50mm.
argh i know its frustrating! </TD></TR></TABLE>

i hope making this thread answered alot of question because i dont think ACL is going to switch them out for free since a bought there stock product??? So im out 80 bux!! oem ones are expensive. and that weird color scheme honda has for our bearings is crazy!! i want to run open deck in my cb7
i have a 98 SH produced in 97 h22a4 block. Its out right now should have the crank out this weekend, I will take some measurements and let you guys know.
ACL part# for 92-96 h and f series std size = 5M1937-STD
ACL part# for 98-01 h22a4's with 55mm mains = 5M1957-STD
They don't list them on ACL's site for some reason, but get ahold of ebay user engine-dynamics-usa and they will be able to get them for you, I've bought from them in the past.
