Head stud thread lock?
I have reinstalled my head but it looks like there is a thread lock or something originally on the threads. Is there a special grease or thread lock one would normally use?

You can either use moly lube or motor oil, no thread lock man. Tq specs will be different depending on which lube you use. Check the manufacturers recommendations for whoever made your studs.
