Hi there i'm from scotland in the United Kingdom and recently bought a manifold from Megan Racing i was told it was for a 1997-2001 prelude here in the U.K the 5th Gen only comes in 2.0,2.2 non v-tec and a 2.2 V-tec. the manifold i have does not fit my 2.0L 16v. I have recently been told that this manifold is for a 1997 - 2001 2.3 do you get such a model as u don't in the U.k plus is it the 4th Gen or the 5th Gen model?

 

so what model do you have? year /v-tec or not?


2.0L ? isn't that only soch motors?????? (please correct me someone)

 

i have a 1997 honda prelude 2.0l 16v non v-tec and yes it is a SOHC

 

to anwer both your questions

the 5th gen did not come as a 2.3l

there is a dohc 2l vtec, the f20b, but this only came in the accord

 

so am i right in saying that there is not a 2.3L 1997-2001 honda prelude that is all i need to know so i can carry on this dispute about the manifold i was sent thanks

tell them you want a refund.

those models of manifolds arn't interchangeable with the 2.0L sohc anyway right?(I don't know for sure but im sure some one here does)

I am in the UK too, take my word for it I have had all the different gens and the 2.3 was a 4th gen, the 5th gen did not come with 2.3

Just 2.0 and 2.2 vtec in the 5th gen.
