PCV valve shape install question.....

i went to pull mine out of my d15b8 and noticed its not L shaped like the one i bought.....

mine looks similar to this... how am i going to use the L shaped one or did they give me the wrong one?

Just bend the hose the way you want it to go.

you see where the blue portion is on the PCV shown above is... my new one has an L coming directly off that.

No it is number 6, as stated in the honda parts catalog.
