Is it kind of a tinking metallic popping, one after the other, lasts for about 5 minutes?

You've got a rat living in your car. Clean out all the food trash, eventually the sound will stop.

Lol, do you have A/C in your car?

yes</TD></TR></TABLE>

It's metal expanding. Most cars do this. My car does this. My girlfriend's car does this. My old car did this. My truck did this. My mom's car does this. My dad's car does this.

The list goes on.

I was being serious. It's just metal expanding due to the differences in temperatures.

lol yea and contracting as well a short while after you shut the engine off dont forget.

oddly enough my vechile doesnt do this right now, maybe it doesnt make enough power to heat itself up..... what is it like 75 at the flywheel and maybe 50 at the wheels and with the ac on i average maybe 40..... similar to a 1600cc air cooled vw engine in power production.

with the hood scoop you'll be pushing 1000+WHP and you'll hear that metal clanking for 7 weeks straight
