yes, it has been done without an issue. you will get stuck with some very low profile tires resulting in a harsh ride and a greater chance of wheel damage from bad roads.

is it possible/doable, yes.
is it practical, no.

ignore the folks that think they know when they dont.

rofl i said it wont fit without causing harm...i.e. damaging wheel well, fenders, tires, or possibly the rim itself from encountering bumps.

HREs2000, Although you're running 19's - What do you think of HRE's? With 400 ponies and possibly hitting up the track.. you would surely be taking them off bec. HRE makes easily bent wheels that bend and crack easily. A reason why many tracks ban them. What do you think of them?

OP.. I'm sure the topic has now been covered! What wheels and tire combination is a completely different story. I'm sure you'd be running rubber bands for tires!

WELL I WILL be honest i have never tracked the car but in that case i would use the QF's i had lightweight in 17x9 fitments .....HRE.... i have delt with them for some time now never had issues with bent wheels (here on our horrible miami streets) i have seen bans on wheels especially kinesis at a audi event wheel came apart ......my good friend is HRE #1 dist. and all of us have hre on our cars and they have been nothing but great wheels......

jesus there are so many haters.

if you have an s2000 and want 19s on it (especially HRE), there's absolutely NOTHING ghetto about that (unless you get some blades :x ). I had a 00 s2000 silver on red with 19" HRE 540 wheels and it looked better than any other s2000 i had seen at the time. It was basically stock (besides a k&n drop in) and still ran beautiful. dont let jealous haters stop you from creating beauty.

oh yeah, when you purchase HREs, as most of you know they're made to order for your car and will PRECISELY size them for exactly that. Offsets are never a problem. in other words, NO RUBBING.

example:
im not a fan of yellow, but it looks nice and clean.

another one with 19s

HREs

Wow Im surprised that the s2k can clear 19s with no issue.

Ive had a few friends put on 18s and have a few issues with stock suspension.

IMHO 19"s on s2k = Except for maybe like one that was pictured.....
