Default AO P73 Pistons????

I recently purchased a set of AO P73 pistons from JDMshit.com, and I have speculation to believe these are not the correct pistons. The sight stated they are USDM P73 pistons with an 81mm bore. When I recieved the pistons they were stamped with AO P73 and 0.50 on the top. The dome looks about half the size of a B16 piston, and have only a partial heat resistant coating on the sides. Can I trust trust them to provide "TRUE" Type R performace?
Please help

the u.s. type r's are stamped A0 and the jdm are 00. i got mine from inline four and not all of the skirt had the coating either so i wouldnt worry about that. i dont know what the .50 is though

0.50 is going to indicate its oversized. They are USDM ITR pistons. The dome is going to be smaller because it goes in this order for piston domes CTR, B16, JDM ITR, USDM ITR, JDM GS-R, USDM GS-R etc.... Your going to lose compression using either ITR pistons compared to your B16's

in terms of dome its :

CTR > P30 > PR3 > JDM ITR > US ITR

BUT, the ITR has a higher compression height than the b16 pistons. so in terms of compression its:

CTR > JDM ITR > P30 > PR3 > US ITR
