how to ohm out injectors and harness?
hey guys, so I've been having issues starting my h22a1. sometimes it cranks but doesn't start, sometimes it starts for like 2 seconds at low rpm and then dies, sometimes it'll start and with my foot on the gas itll hit 2krpm but with a really bad sound and then die, and then when I'm lucky it'll start up (with starter fluid haha).
I was told to ohm out my injectors and harness, but I have no idea how to. I checked on google and searched HT, with no luck. Coudl anybody lead me in the right direction here?
Thanks!
Also, any other ideas as to what my problem might be would be helpful. I'm thinking possibly the dizzy?

well the injectors are easy there is a 2 pin connection on them just use a multimeter, set it on ohms and put ur red and black leads on those pins.
To ohm out the harness you are probably going to have to find the ecu pin out and go from where it connects to the injector to where it plugs into the ecu. If it comes up OFL or something you know you have a break in the line somewhere or excessive resistance.

no, your checking resistances, or continuity, not voltages in the test he's telling you to do. Set multimeter to resistance and stick a probe in each side of the injector quick connector. Match the resistance to what good ol hanes manual says the resistance for good injectors is suppose to be. If you get an omega sign or infinity resistance that means you have a broken wire.
Chances are though its not a brake in wire or it would never fire. If anythings wrong you will likely see a higher than normal resistance on your injector! (IF it is even the injector that is the problem) This would decrease the amount of current that the injector is supplied with, causing it not to function well or intermittently.
