Default transmission problem. Not going into gear

Ok i installed my new m2y4 transmission a few weeks ago but the slave was damaged before hand so it was to be replaced. I did not have time to finish it up so i dropped it off at a very reputable shop that i know is not trying to rip me off in the slightest. Just a heads up for those who think its sketchy. I towed it in to have the timing belt redone and the new slave installed and have the alternator belt replaced. Well luck would have it that my car takes a big **** on me.

After the tranny was installed we cranked the car over and it started up. I was told that this means the clutch and flywheel were installed correctly because the crank is spinning, is this right?

Since it cranked over and was working i figured replaced the slave and it should work right? No, the shop said it started up but it would not let them in gear. It would not drive. The axles were both replaced and the axle shaft. The slave is brand new and has new fluid. The clutch pressure is great and no leaks whatsoever. What could it be?

The shop is going to take it apart and look for the problem. My only guess and there is that the ball bearing was not lined up properly or the shift fork fell off during the bolt back up.

Some help and advice would be very nice right now. What else do you guys think it could be. I was thinking it could be something like the new transmission has no gears left in it and it was a dud but it has teeth on it when i put the axles in it so i know it can't be that. The flywheel and clutch lined up perfectly and bolted up. Slave is brand new and clutch pressure is good. All thats left that i can think of is the shift fork and the bearing. I am stumped and freaking out.

have someone press the pedal and you watch to see if the slave cylinder pushes the shift fork.

if it moves then your throwout bearing isn't in there or isn't in there right.

if it doesn't move, then you have a clutch system problem.

well the clutch lined up perfectly and so did the flywheel, the cover fit perfectly as well. If the clutch was wrong it wouldn't fit on to the car right? What kind of clutch problem would it be? Is it possible to put a bearing on backwards? the bearing fit onto the shift fork and sort of clipped in when we put in the transmission like it should have. I just honeslty can't see what is wrong because everything lined up, everything fit, and the slave is brand new. More help needed mgags7
