Default Headlights went out!

A few times last month my headlights would intermittantly go out and come back on while driving. They came back on each time after a few minutes of acting strange. I went camping just last week and took the car down a gravel road that may have proven to be too rough for some of the sickly electronic components in it, and the headlights just would not even come on that night afterwards making us have to leave the car at a nearby gas station all night, until we could pick it up the next day and drive it home.

Has anyone ever had anything like this happen to their cords? I'm wondering if the relay has crapped out or something, seeing as how the brights don't even work now?

headlights are highly over rated anyway! ! LOL

Sounds like a poor connection inside the headlight switch, you could try thumping on the steering column to see if it causes or corrects the problem.

Caveman test Rules

It is possible to carefully take the switch apart and clean the contacts/ re-tension the springs.

Honda head lights or even other model head lights are normal and just a minor problem. They're right! Just check the wirings, insaide wirings and don't forget to check your battery. It is more important to know if the battery is ok. Goodluck!!!

Also, check the bulbs out themselves just to make sure.
