? for Mike (Type X)
It wasn't that i didnt like them personally, however they were making claims that were bold... and submitting timelines for products..that were not met.
The problem when a new vehicle is put to the market (i.e new civic si ) is that alot of the tuners that buy it.... are new to them. ANOTHER problem is , they care more about paper numbers... then quality control.
That coupled with the fact that it takes time for quality.. really isn't a good combo.
I butted heads with the redshift guys quite a bit on the 8thcivic, not to be a jerk, but to simply get some questions asked, & it opened up a GRAND CANYON sized hole in their story/product.

Thanks for the info. I am thinking an S/C kit and it is either Redshift or Comptech so wanted a good unbiased opinion.
To the second poster. Mike made an offhand comment in a post I can't even remember, so, new thread.
Comptech's new catback looks bad as hell. Heard anything about it?.

Well I was an unbiased opinion when Comptech was out of the market... now that they are back.. I'm biased again.
However if market longevity/background is a selling point. The correct choice should be obvious.
As for exhausts.... search, that has been covered.

I was very pro-redshfit in the beginning.. but they've become ridiculous.
Each month they take back their last deadline, and re-release a new one. I posted several times in their thread that if they can't make one deadline, stop making more! These kits were supposed to be out several months ago, and they haven't' even built a single one yet.
Also.. it's quite annoying that all their projected power gains are based on a kit for a different car. I understand that quality takes time.. but with the amount of time it's taking, I doubt this kit will even be tested before it's released..

didn't Redshift already take pre-orders on a bunch of kits?
I think that was an issue also, if I remember correctly. Taking money for a product that doesn't exist yet is always a little shady

No, but it does sound badass.
