Default how to tell?

how can i tell if my ecu has been reflashed?

i talked to the old owner of my car and he said the ecu has been reflashed by comptech, is there a way to tell?

rev your car and if it passes 6800 all the way to 7500 then yeap you ecu is reflashed...

if it was reflashed for a supercharger, would that affact it that much being that the motor is na now?

what if you have an ignition system..which also pushes the rev limiter higher. doesn't it? cause i do. an its higher but it came on the car but i dont know if the ecu has been tampered with

no it doesn't only your ecu limits your rev.

well than back to the original question..the only way you can tell you ecu has been fooled around with is if the rev limiter is pass the red line on the gauge?
cause mine goes anywhere from a 100 or 2 to 3 or 400 rpms past......an i dont know what yr it was..but i literally tied an s2k the other day an they supposedly run low low 14s an all i got that i knowof is ignition/header/CAI

a type-s with a i/rh/e
is about equal to a stock s2k (in most cases)

but what would allow me to go pass the stock red line by a few hundred rpms? only a tune/reflash?

in order for you to get a ecu upgrade is to at least have a upgraded intake
after that, then you can look into a hondata reflash or k-pro
you will be able to raise the rpms safetly to 8600
there are different levels of reflashes
most people will tell you to go k-pro because its tuneable
