I think I have the same problem. Whenever someone on the passenger side leans against the passenger side door panel, the SRS light comes on, then when they move away it will turn off... Kinda wierd, eh?

there is a sensor it goes on and off if there is a passenger leaning to close to the sensor. The person can be leaning on the door or where ever the senser senses the passenger.

not weird
that's normal
its pretty much says "get off"
you don't want that side airbag to go off while your passenger is leaning on the side
so for safety it disables itself
