2000 odyssey CEL TCC Solenoid
I scanned the CEL code and it gave me a TCC solenoid open. i dont remember the exact code, and i didnt write it down because i borrowed it from my friend at the shop, but he told me it was my traction control solenoid.
What can i do to fix it? anybody have this problem before?

Thats the Transmission Clutch Control solenoid. If you have a P0740, which is a transmission clutch system failure code, you will most likely need a transmission. How does it drive? Is there any slipping, hard shifting, or late shifting?
I'm sorry, I meant Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid. Yeah, that sounds like a Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid problem. If its P0740 you'll need a trans. for sure (I've done several trannys for P0740 DTCs). If you find a P0700 thats just a generic transmission failure code that most aftermarket scan tools (snap on, mac, etc.) throws because it can't read the specific code. You may need to go to a dealer to get the actual code using an HDS(Honda Diagnostic System). Even the HDS will give a P0700 if you don't go into the trans. diagnostic tools.
