i know alot of people prefer not to put tint on egs but i have to being its 100 degrees where i live everyday and i have no ac
i was thinking 5% rear and 15% up front
do u guys think that would look nice?

yea.... i have the 5% rear glass and 15% on all the sides. looks nice and keeps the heat out. my profie pic is what it looks like.

looks way darker than it is b/c in across a street for the pic. It is perfect for everyday driving but you can still see clearly at night.

 

i tought i would never put tint on my car but man this heat makes my a/c like its not even working. so i am also putting tint to stay cool

 

had the same idea...a daily driver has to be comfortable and the tint made it better.

the hear is ridiculous and im trying to keep cool

i have 25% all around.
helps alot when i drive in the sun, 80+ degrees for 3 hours
also helps my ac stay cold

im going for a grey shade of tint tho
not purplish like that one
but 25% looks pretty good
i want to see 15 rear and 5 up front tho

What is the legal limit where you live?
I went with 20% because that is about the darkest you can go around where i live with out getting harassed by the cops.

 

I dont like anything below a 35%. Having it to dark most of the time does not look good. I personally dont like tints, but if you were to get them then do a 35% all around.

 

I have 35% on my Civic on all the windows besides the windsheild and it's great. Not noticeably darker from the inside, but helps keep the interior cooler without drawing a bunch of attention to myself.

thats what i have right now and its too dark for me at night time. its so dark that you can barely see your hands.

 

just if you didnt know the lower the numbr the darker it is...that is the % of light it lets through. it seems backwards... i know.

 

IMHO, tints look ugly on honda's and acura's for some reason. They look good on any other car.

My vote is to get your A/C fixed...that would make the most difference.

I'm running limo on my rear hatch and the rear sides...22% on the front side windows.

 

EG1 with 20% rear, 35% sides...does the job for me! Any darker and I would be worried about nighttime visibility And that doesnt even bring in legality issues

Needs a black lip kit, IMHO, but nice though.

I ran 30% film on mine, on all windows; WA state maximun.

I've thought about it, but with the muffler I have I'd have to change the hangers to give room for the rear lip to avoid melting and the only lips for the front I like are the stock OEM VX/Si lip and the Type-R replicas...which I'd rather the stock Si lip, but can't find any
