Default trany?

ok i have a YS1 and i was looking to rebuild it but i do not know if it came from the 92-93 gsr or from a ls
is there a way to tell
does any one have one of thows diagrams like for the L3 trannys to tell the difference between dx, si and hf but for the YS1

that is what the guy said it was but i know that some YS1s came in the ls to
so is there a way to tell the difference

i bet there's a way to tell.

casting marks for 88-91 civic/crx
L3 P20-A000 = DX/LX/HF
L3 P20-B000 = Si/EX/ZC


more than likely there is a casting mark to differentiate the two.

It was an example of how you could tell. there are casting marks on the transmissions. I wouldn't be surprised if there was casting marks to tell the difference. how would Acura be able to service the transmissions without knowing WHAT transmission it was. take a guess and get the wrong parts, now what?
