Default What happened to my Stage 1 Exedy Clutch!?!?!

I just got my B20 integra running and i drove it to the store. I have an Exedy stage 1 clutch and ACT streetlite flywheel on my car. Well when i was coming back i put it in first at like 5 mph and floored it (I know there is a break in period) But i just wanted to rev to like 4 grand once ( i know, dumb choice)...

So my car jumped for about half a second then just revved freely!! As if i had put it in neutral but it was still in first! Now it wont go into first and all the other gears wont engage. It goes into gear but its like its in neutral...

Ive torn down trannies before if that turns out to be the cause, so whatever it is ill let you know... has anyone any ideas?

I know my slave cylinder was leaking before this happened...

Has anyone had this or something like this happen to them??

My car was running fine and everything was good and this just happened suddenly. I haven't torn trannies apart yet but I do that next year.

Yes, i can still find every gear except first gear... First gear wont go in...

When i put in other gears (2nd,3rd,4th,5th,Reverse) and lift off the clutch i can hear a faint scraping sound...

axles probably not in all the way. unless u have lsd, if one is not in all the way it'll just spin. by the sounds of it u prolly broke or rubbed the teeth off the axles and f'd ur 1st gear up... i say check axles first make sure their snapped in. i had this happen to my crx with the passenger side axle.

your springs got loose/broke in the disc or the clutch disc shattered. ive seen this happen many times with the stage 1s to our customers. its a common problem with the 1s

EDIT: I found my problem. The passenger side axle was popped out. I almost yelled when i saw it cuz i was so glad thats all it was...

Why would it do that to me? Did i forget a snap ring or something? Also, can i just weasel that thing back in the way it is? Or do i have to take everything off?

you just didnt put it in all the way, how i do it is i push it in all i can then i take a nice size hammer and bang it once on the other end then you should here a POP* now tug at it and see if it will come off eazy.

if it does then ur snap ring is busted or nto doing what its supposed to, normally it wont. now finish up by placing the other end into the hub and ur good to go. check to see if your teeth are still there.
