Default hood latch problem

So I just bought an aftermarket metal oem style hood from someone on this forum that used it on their ITR and I cannot get it to latch all the way down. We've tried to move it side to side and forward as much as possible but it still won't latch down. Any suggestions?

Just so that you all know in case you have this problem, the latch mechanism that is attached to the radiator support can actually move a little bit. I played around with it and there's enough adjustment to move it up and my hood is now latched.

Where would I find a oem py hood for $150??? What's the difference besides the weight of the hood? I still have my carbon fiber one if I want to go lighter.

Difference in engineered specs. OEM specs can never be replicated to 100% accuracy.

Trust me I know that oem stuff fits better, it's just not in my budget and there aren't very many people selling their PY hoods out there and I can't even imagine what Acura would charge if they even carried one.
